Day 7 Melbourne to Adelaide | The Overland Train | Red Premium Class This morning, board The Overland at Melbourne’s Southern Cross Station and settle into Red Premium, where extra legroom, in-seat dining and attentive hospitality make this classic interstate rail journey feel relaxed from the outset. Day 11 Cook, the Nullarbor Plain and Rawlinna | On board the Indian Pacific Train Today is all about the epic scale and stark beauty of the Nullarbor Plain. Along the way, the train pauses at Cook, a near-ghost outpost whose weathered buildings offer a fascinating glimpse into Australia’s railway past.
